Whether the audience constists of operators, technicians, engineers, or managers, CAMI's Cable & Harness Testing training will ensure your staff members are primed to be more creative and productive. Our training offerings are described below. Sessions vary in content and time, as they are dependent on your group size, and level of experience.
For training through independent study, scroll to the Independent-Study section at the bottom of this page. Whenever possible, we recommend following the Knowledge Base Recommendation laid out there prior to participating in Instructor-Led Training.
Attend professional development courses at your own workplace without incurring the cost of downtime while travelling or the cost of travelling itself. We are pleased to offer you live, interactive, group training. Set up your tester, computer, and speaker phone in the comfort of your own conference room, and we connect remotely to this training tester via remote-support software (Teamviewer is embedded within your CableEye tester). Truly interactive, at times we will operate your tester by way of demonstration, at other times we will observe and instruct as you do so.
Latest software required. Internet access via remote-support software required.
Look for our open registration training sessions held at the annual Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo in Milwaukee.

We offer a small library of short instructional videos for you to use at no charge. Each clip describes one basic function of the CableEye software using a live full-size video screen image and includes narration, active mouse highlighting, labeled call-outs, and inserted still images. You may view the videos in any order, although you should watch them sequentially to get the greatest benefit. Check back for new clips periodically.
1 | Getting Started Booklet | Printed copy included with your CableEye System and digital copy on the installation drive. Can be download if you login to the support page here: CAMI Support | Quick guide to setting up your tester and installing the software. |
2 | CB-T2 Training Board Guide | A link to a printable online digital copy is included with the CB-T2. Connect via the QR code on the board or data sheet. | Intended for new operator training and equipment familiarisation (including facility capability demonstrations to management/auditors/customers). Operators and observers get a practical understanding of the CableEye system's functionality and its fault detection capabilities, while simultaneously learning how it responds to opens, shorts, mis-wires, intermittent connections and insulation resistance. |
3 | Software Introduction Guide | Printed copy included with your CableEye System and digital copy on the installation drive, or download it from here: Download Software Introduction Guide. | Quick guide offering an introduction to every important function of the CableEye tester and software. Often, this guide is enough to setup your tester in a production environment. For more information, click the blue tabs in the margins of the online copy to jump to the noted section in the User's Manual. We recommend using the CB-T2 board while working through this Guide. |
4 | Web Video Clips | On the installation drive and on our website here: Demonstration Video Clips. | Multiple video clips demonstrating the use of important software features. |
5 | User’s Manual | The links on this User's Manual page will always take you to the most current (downloadable) version. A digital copy (current as of ship-date) was included on your installation drive. | In-depth explanation of all features of the CableEye test system. Intended for system administrators and technicians. |
6 | Instructor-led Classes | THIS PAGE Class-style training opportunities led by CAMI engineers. Please refer to this Training page. |

Use of this adapter board is a great way to familiarize new employees with CableEye test systems during their orientation, and to demonstrate your facility's capability to management/auditors/customers. Populated with a few common connectors, the CB-T2 allows trainees to methodically experience how the system responds to opens, shorts, miswires, diodes, resistance, capcitance, intermittent connections, and insulation resistance while at the same time learning to operate the tester.
Training may be self-directed with this tool. A training procedure is included with the board.
In addition, this fixture is also used for tester and facility verification.
